My Approach
I have an eclectic/ integrative approach to therapy. This means that I don't rely on one kind of therapy or framework to address your issue(s). I am trained in CBT, IPT, EMDR, Ego State Therapy, and I also utilize Mindfulness and Somatic psychology techniques. Together we work towards a plan that is tailored for you and adapt it to your unique needs. We will create treatment goals together, and check in regularly around progress.

I practice from a client centered trauma informed approach that is non-judgemental and supportive. This means that I'm curious about "what has happened to you"(that may be contributing to your current distress), instead of "what is wrong with you".

I believe that you are the expert about your own life experiences and work with you to discover your own path towards well-being and resolution. I work from the assumption that your brain, mind and body have the ability to heal under the right circumstances.

My aim is to make your therapeutic experience positive and effective. While therapy can be a difficult process, it can also be an interesting and enjoyable one.
